Werner received his BS & MS in Chemistry from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and a PhD in chemistry & neuroscience from Indiana University. He previously worked as the Director of Stevens Venture Center at Stevens Institute of Technology. Werner loves dachshunds, travel and teaching entrepreneurial thinking.

LEXIE MITCHELL

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

 

Lexie Mitchell graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Communication (Media Studies), a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a winner of the Stanford Award of Excellence. She has professional experience cultivating entrepreneurial and innovative mindsets in a wide variety of industries, including sports, tech, and higher education. Outside of work, Lexie enjoys listening to podcasts while walking her dog, Buttercup, and finding the best new dinner spots with her husband, Josh.

ADAM MARCINKOWSKI

MINES VENTURE ASSOCIATE

 

Adam is a junior in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Space Exploration. He helps lead¬†Mines’ aerospace chapter (AIAA), the Maker Society, and Entrepreneurship Club. Adam is also proud to serve CSM’s NASA lunar mining design competition team as its project lead. His mission is to help future generations live, work, and play in space through his passions of space mining and business innovation. Adam was a co-creator of this site.

Emma May

MINES VENTURE ASSOCIATE

 

Emma is a sophomore studying Computer Science. She is a University Innovation Fellow, currently working with the EPICS department to incorporate hands-on learning and design thinking in the curriculum. Emma loves dogs more than almost anything, and has a list of all the names for her future dogs.  Emma was a co-creator of this site.
