Do you like working on creative, interdisciplinary teams for positive impact?  Do you want to be a part of a lasting legacy in Colorado? How could you reimagine a huge piece of land near the continental divide? What would you do with a mountain? People at Climax Molybdenum and the Henderson Mine and Mill want to know your ideas.

The charge for those bold and creative enough to take up the challenge is to develop a concept for:

Sustainable repurposing of the Henderson Mine’s mill facilities and land holdings that is economically sustainable, socially acceptable and provides a positive and lasting legacy to the community

This will be a competition.  There will be giveaways and PRIZES!

1st Prize: $25K

2nd Prize: $15K

3rd Prize: $10K

Bring your friends, your creativity and intellectual hunger and meet with Mines faculty and alumni as well as team mentors, engineers and executives from Freeport McMoRan, Climax Molybdenum and the Henderson Mine. Food and refreshments will be provided.
